Why does a job disappear from my list when it's just waiting on someone else?

It hasn't gone anywhere. Jobs held up at another stage are hidden by default so your list only shows what needs your attention.

Turn on Ignore Holdups in your job filters to see jobs regardless of which stage they're waiting on.
