With the Engager system, we've got a handy 'bulk messaging' tool which many of you choose to use for keeping clients up to date with Budget Changes or bulk messaging their Self Assessment clients to make sure that they've paid their bill by 31st Jan or July.
You can use this tool for a number of reasons, and by all means, use this for Marketing purposes.
We have many clients using this for monthly mailers and you could also use this for your list of Prospects too! Who knows, your latest blurb could be the final key to getting them on board.
Sending a marketing email
- On the Clients list, tick your clients, or tick the box at the top of the list to select all. To pick prospects, switch to the prospects view first.
- Select message, then Compose e-mail.
- You can then send out as planned, but the one thing to note is, you MUST select whether it's a marketing piece or an information piece, and adjust accordingly. Use the Type: field: it's set to information by default, so change it to marketing for a marketing email. With marketing selected, only contacts opted in to marketing in Engager receive it.
